I’m sure the people at the Windows camp are trying their hardest to stop people from hacking Microsoft Windows. … But its just so easy. You first must take into account the fact that the main OS on the market is some type of Windows. So who are the bad people more likely to target? Us (Linux users)? Or them? People who write bad software don’t even take into account the fact that users could be using another system. My evidence?

Another Windows Hijacking Attempt

How do I know this was bogus? One: how do you scan my file system over the internet? Two: I’M RUNNING LINUX NOT Windows XP. Seriously? You’re scanning my computer for viruses? Are you not aware that I’m not running Windows XP? Note: To all the Windows XP (and other) users (in general) don’t go wildly clickin’ on stuff. This is a hackers (or bad Web sites) attempt to get you to download bad stuff and screw up your computer. Unfortunately many of poor Windows user will fall to this trickery. If you happen to fubar your computer. You have two options. A) Call PC Sightings or B) Just switch over to Linux (Start with Ubuntu!) and never have to worry about this again.

Further proof that I'm not just bashing Windows and I did encounter evil stuff (Rouge Website or Pop up) meant to hurt Windows users, WHILE I was on my LINUX machine

This is just the tip of the iceberg. There are many other reasons in which I believe Linux machines can be more secure that Windows. I just wanted to start this series off with nothing but the truth! Since I did put this post in a certain category, I must end it with this… Linux doesn’t have these problems :-]

Dad: Why do you have to restart a computer, only to get the message “You must restart your computer in order for these changes to take affect”?

Me (thought): I don’t know, but that doesn’t happen in Linux, must be a Windows thing.
